I love my face toners! They are both alcohol free, and they make my skin feel soooo good!
I know that many people think that face toners are useless, but personally, I have always enjoyed toners. The only thing I always wanted and never found in other company’s toners was an alcohol free face toner. I just never understood the point of using harsh alcohol on the face. Yes, it does make the toner evaporate faster, but it also dries out the skin! And, it kills bacteria on the skin so you get less breakouts, but there are better ways to deal with breakouts. All you have to do is change the pH to something bacteria don’t like, and that can easily be done with apple cider vinegar.
The apple cider vinegar toner balances the pH beautifully, it gently exfoliates dead skin cells, and it calms the skin. This is why I prefer to use the apple cider toner at night so my skin can rest and recover at night.
The rosewater toner is the perfect daytime toner. It is full of antioxidants, which are known to prevent and repair skin damage from sun exposure. And, it smells divine!
Both the toners also contain fermented sea kelp, which forms a protective layer on the skin that keeps it moisturized longer. Fermented sea kelp is also full of bio-available minerals and vitamins, so it nurtures the skin beautifully!
So, do you really need a toner?
It depends what you think you need. A refreshing toner can add a light spritz of moisture, minerals, vitamins and herbs to boost skin health and help you slow down the visible signs of aging. So, you have to decide if you want to include toners into your regular skincare routine.
I gave a bottle of rosewater toner to a friend of mine. And, I love her comment about the toner after using it for a few days. She said: ‘I didn’t think I was going to like it much, but it is actually way nicer than I thought it would be. My skin feels amazing after my daily spritz, and I love it!.”
So, it is up to you…
